Education: Bachelor's degree with 150 hours is required to sit for the exam 30 semester hours in accounting 36 hours in general business subjects
Citizenship: Citizenship is not required.

CPA Licensure Requirements

Here’s what you need to become licensed in the state of Nebraska.

Education: Bachelor's Degree of 150 semester hours is required.
Experience: 2 years of public accounting experience or 3 years of auditing experience in the Dept. of Revenue or in the Office of the Auditor of Public Accounts or 3 1/2 years gained through employment by the federal government as a special agent or IRS agent.
Ethics: AICPA Ethics examination is required to be licensed.
