CPA Exam Requirements

Age: 21
Education: Bachelor's degree with 150 hours is required to sit for the exam. 32 semester hours in accounting courses 32 semester hours in general business courses
Citizenship: Citizenship is not required.
Residency: Residency is required.

Here’s what you need to become licensed in the state of Puerto Rico.

Education: Bachelor's Degree of 150 semester hours is required.
Experience: 150 hours of education including a B.A. in accounting with Citizenship is not required. experience requirement; or graduate of college or university recognized by the Puerto Rico Board.
Ethics: AICPA Ethics examination not required.
