CPA Exam Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree of 120 hours is required to sit for the exam. 30 semester hours in accounting courses 20 semester hours in business law, economics, finance
Citizenship: Citizenship is not required.
Residency: Residency is required.

Here’s what you need to become licensed in the state of U.S. Virgin Islands.

Education: Visit the U.S Virgin Islands State Board of Accountancy for licensure education requirements: http://dlca.vi.gov/boardcertifications/steps/cparequirements/
Experience: 1 year of experience, certified by a licensee, and gained through employment in government, industry, academia or public practice.
Ethics: AICPA Ethics examination not required.
